Location at King George Square on February 26th.

A mixture of Clay, Stones and rhinestone have been combined for these creations.

Well its had been a while since my last blog.

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Christmas and New Year.

A very busy year for me especially with home renovations in progress.

Almost finished just a few touches to go.

An exciting new year with Boutique Markets a new location for the event will be posted soon.

I have been developing a few new jewellery ideas for 2012 with alot of mixed media - hoping to upload pictures shortly.

My necklaces had taken over for a while but for a little more variety I have made a few new purses for Sunday.

Happy New Year to everyone as we once again start a new year.

My first market day will be on Sunday February 13th at the beautiful Boutique Markets at Portside Hamilton from 8am to 1pm.

After such devestation in QLD this month with the Brisbane floods and the Cyclones in far north Queensland my thoughts and prayers are with everyone trying to pick up the pieces and move on.

Many of us I know have given donations to the flood and cyclone appeals but for this market coming up I am going to be donating 50% of my profits to the flood appeal.

Also being close to Valentines day all my jewellery will be at a one time price of

$20 per piece.

So pop down and say hello and get a bargin with profits going to a good cause.

Well, it has been awhile between my last blog -

A quick update, here are some of new designs finally completed.

You see I have been a little busy over the last few months due to becoming

a wedding planner for my own wedding in September - hence I have only just over the

last few days found sometime to chill out and do some jewellery.

These new designs have been insipired by the whole wedding process from

the dress, the bridesmaids to the flowers. It has been a very hectic time for us but I

am now feeling more relaxed that things are finally in place.

I hope you enjoy my regal designs.

A Fantstic Sunday Market June 13

Well what another Fantastic day out and about in South East Queensland

We had a huge pets and kids day today and I just admit I have

never seen so many dogs and kids in one place at the same time.

A wonderful Queensland turnout with face painting, a sand wizard

and Fashion parades.

I would love to thank everyone for attending and to all my lovely customers

who stopped by - some on a return visit with a friend to purchase my

products. Your support is greatly appreciated and I hope you

are happy with your one off pieces. All seem to appreciate how different

my jewellery is.

It is times like these that when I finish a piece I wish I had my own personal photographer on hand to capture just the right light - no such luck - unfortunately I am on my own.

Here are a couple finished pieces for the Februrary market day.

New Designs for 2010

After having a restful Xmas and New Year break and returning to my day job this week - I managed to find some inspiration from all the shopping I did over the holidays.

This is one of my new designs for 2010 - having incorporated 2 antique brooches, some pearls and a little of this and that, this one and more in many different colours will be debuting at the next Boutique Markets at Portside on February 14.

Some thoughts to "walk on"

Only having a few days left left on hols and before I begin my new jewellery collection for 2010, I found myself still pondering over some beautiful photos. The saying above will definately be painted somewhere and the picture below - just love the henna work.

I just adore this staircase - its seem quite magical and straight out of fairytale.

Whilst in Paris a few years ago now I came across a similiar bed at the wonderful Antique Markets in Paris. Unfortunately I did not have a container ship or a very large suitcase to get everything I wanted home.

Our Ginger flower Garden

A few years ago now my husband and I were on holidays on the Sunshine coast and decided to visit the "Ginger Factory" there at Yandina. To our joy they were having a ginger festival on that weekend. We purchased a couple of plants, took them home and planted them as you do, not knowing that the flowers were so beautiful we have repeated the process for a few years now and have a staggering collection of 92 different varieties.

They are all different with varying flowering results. I went out in the garden the other day and decided to pick a few (the ones in the vase shown) to share wth you just how beautiful they really are.

The first photo is a torch variety and is the same one in the vase.

So if you are out and about at the nurseries keep your eyes open for them, they are easy to grow and look fantastic in an arrangement.

Time to do some redecorating

With Christmas fast approaching, kids on school holidays and myself taking a little time off, I have been collecting a few ideas to do some redecorating. You know all those things that you have meant to do throughout the year but never get the time. Well I am finally going to paint some walls, make some cushions, pack all the jewellery away for now and have a lot of fun. Here are a just a few of the ideas I just adore.

A Cross for Christmas

Yesterday I spent the day with the lovely Taryn Newland - Taryn is a fantastic Photographer, unfortunately these new pics are not the ones she has taken - this is my poor attempt at photographing my jewellery, so I can't wait to get my new photos soon.

Christmas for us is all about spending time with Family and Friends over the break, eating way to much food, catching up on a little sleep and looking back over the year.

Our tree and Christmas lights have gone up today thanks to my children - so we are definately getting into the spirit of things.
